Christopher Dray of Moody Rambin Investment Services Group represented Frost National Bank in the sale of 2201 Market Street – The U.S. National Bank building in Galveston, Texas. The historic twelve-story, 87,140 square foot office building is located in Galveston’s CBD at the corner of Market Street and 22nd Street. The major tenants are Frost Bank and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Galveston Island’s Kempner family founded what would become the United States National Bank in 1874. The bank building was constructed in 1925 and was designed by Alfred C. Bossom with Sanguinet, Staats & Hedrick. In 1990, architect David Watson rehabilitated the building.
